Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions in compliance with local and group standards.
- Implement and ensure compliance with corporate internal control requirements.
- Assist in various projects, including digitization efforts to enhance finance processes and efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close for the group, adhering to internal and external reporting timelines, including statutory and SGX reporting.
- Review full set of consolidated accounts.
- Review monthly management reports and perform/review variance analysis.
- Collaborate with regional business and country teams to ensure timely and accurate financial close and reporting.
- Prepare quarterly business highlights and half-yearly results announcements for SGX reporting.
- Manage local statutory audits and liaise with local professional advisors.
- Coordinate and drive budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management for the regions.
- Provide financial analyses to support regional management and participate in strategic planning
Requirement
- Min Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications,
- Min 5 years of relevant experience, including managerial roles
- CPA or CA certification is preferred.
- Experience working with regional offices.
- Proficient in SFRS (I) requirements and knowledgeable about SGX reporting regulations.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and business processes.
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel.
