Our client is a forward-looking lifestyle brand that aims to promote good design appreciation through the furniture products they carry. They are looking to hire a highly motivated, efficient, and hands-on Accounting/office Administrator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Duties
- Understand business profits and financial position
- Monitor and aging status, and keeping tabs on operation expenses
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, gathering information to make prospects and forecast
- Assist with payroll and human resource matters
- Assist with local and overseas payments
- Ensure accurate and up to date accounts
- Work with external accounting agency on monthly bookkeeping matters
- Ensure compliance with all internal compliance, audit and tax regulations
- Ability to perform quarterly GST filing (should the function be transferred internally)
Admin/ Warehouse Duties
- Researching and organizing data requested by Directors and Operations Manager
- Compiling and processing expense reports for the company
- Handling memos, reports, invoices, and related documents, including sensitive information.
- Office duties such as sourcing and managing office/ showroom supplies and handling the filing system.
- Management of sub-tenants eg. invoice and collection for monthly rental and resolving/ liaison for tenant feedback or issues.
- Management of the company's insurance policies and requirements.
- Assist with correspondence and coordination with freight forwarders for local customs clearance and GST permit.
- Assist with Warehouse and inventory admin duties.
- Coordinate tasks with every member of the company.
- Ensure smooth execution of daily operations with respective sections and teams.
- Assist with ah hoc duties assigned by Operations Manager.
Requirements:
· 3 years’ work experience is preferred
· Diploma in Business or Accounting
· Good in MS Office - Excel skillset and Accounting Software
· Meticulous, detail-oriented, analytical, hardworking and responsible person
· Good written and spoken English
