Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Responsible for the daily site supervision and coordination duties for all disciplines matters
- Project delivery planning including time and manpower scheduling for Resident Site Supervision (RSS)
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors
- Review the Contractors’ submissions and provide comments
- Enforce Contract Specifications, International standards, national regulations, local Authorities’ requirements, Singapore Standards and good practices
- Liaise with the team, Engineering Design Manager, the Project Technical Specialists, as well as the Client Technical Team, on the review and approval of design submissions including calculations and drawings for the mechanical and process elements of the Waste to Energy (WTE) facility, Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), Sludge Incineration Facility (SIF), and Food Waste Treatment Facility (FWFT) and ensure coordination with all disciplines
- Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the Specification requirements, local Authorities’ requirements
- Any other matters that may from time to time be delegated by the PD/PM
Requirements
The individual shall be:-
- in the discipline of Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls
- a Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer registered in his/her country of practice is preferred
- with a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in delivery of large scale industrial/utilities projects (e.g. waste, water, oil & gas, power) or relevant experience in delivering large solid waste management projects (e.g. WTE, sludge incineration, materials recovery and food waste treatment).
