Senior Structural Engineer

The Senior Structural Engineer will be required to undertake structural design for major projects and produce drawings and reports in line with structural specifications. This role will involve small and medium sized projects as well as being a key member of larger project groups that will include design, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budget.

The Opportunity

  • Prepare project reports for clients summarizing key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes.
  • Lead the technical / design input on such projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard.
  • Be involved in project management, relationship management and related business development activities with new and existing clients.
  • Hands on structural design for a range of projects and design calculations, prepare and review of drawings submitted.
  • Participate in BIM coordination to assist to implement the project BIM execution plan and work with structural technicians to produce Revit Models

Is this role right for you?

  • Degree or master’s in civil engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering in Building projects within a consulting environment
  • Proven track record of a diverse range of projects such as in low- and high-rise building, PPVC, Pre-stressed and Timber structures
  • Proficient or have experience in Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, Programming skills.
  • Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices, contract administration and submission procedures
  • Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge
