The Job
Candidate will be responsible to Provide supervisory and administrative support plus management support of transport service. Carry out specialised transport services and non-emergency health care for clients requiring transportation to and from medical facilities, nursing homes and their residence
Responsibilities:
- Undertake the duties of driver
- Load and unload residents/clients to the trolley or wheelchair and onto the transporter
- Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the transporter through daily checking of vehicle(s) performance of minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required
- Complete daily equipment checklist before duty starts
- Maintain cleanliness and optimal condition of the transporter
- Maintain proper records of the patients and service provided
- Participate in Charity Events
- Other Ad hoc Duties assigned
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'N' or ‘O’ Level
- First aid and CPR trained
- Valid class 3 driving licence
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience as a paramedic/medic an added advantage
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to people of all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
- Ability to speak a few languages or dialects will be an added advantage
- Able to respond effectively and efficiently during an emergency
- Enjoy working with volunteers
