Responsibilities:
- Research in the short-range wireless technology innovations and applications with focus on Wi-Fi and UWB, and undertake one or more of the following responsibilities:
- Research the innovation of system architecture and key technologies of short-range wireless, and gain insights on the technologies and trends of short-range wireless;
- Propose efficient solutions for algorithms and problems related to short-range wireless and carry out related verifications.
- Involve the standardization of short-range wireless, propose innovative solutions to the identified problems, and prepare contributions to promote your solutions.
Requirements:
- Master/PhD degree in Communications, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline, with strong background on signal processing and/or protocol design for communications, positioning and/sensing.
- Good knowledge on IEEE 802.11 protocol family (e.g. 802.11n/11ac/11ax/11be) and/or IEEE 802.15 protocol family (e.g. 802.15.4z) will be a plus.
- Skills in wireless system simulation using Matlab, C/C++, NS-3 and/or other tools will be a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
