Our client is a logistics company that specialise in comprehensive supply chain solutions, including warehousing, transportation, and so forth. The current business is focusing in Asia market expansion and is aiming to be one of the leaders in contract logistics solutions.


To drive this growth, our client is actively seeking commercial leaders who can lead business development and build strong client relationships across SEA, helping the company scale its operations and deliver value to local and regional businesses.


Job Description


The Business Development Manager will report to the Country Head and will be focusing on building new accounts for Singapore and the rest of SEA.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Secure new clients that want to outsource their operation, transportation and warehouse, prioritizing high-growth industries.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to consistently building a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage the entire tendering process from initial proposal through negotiation, presenting tailored logistics solutions that address client needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to refine business development efforts and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Develop good relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop logistics solutions that leverage the company's strengths and meet each client's unique challenges.
  • Measure and report on progress toward key performance metrics, adjusting strategies to achieve and surpass business goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7 years or more experience in the contract logistics and/or 3PL sector
  • Sales professional with ambition and drive in the supply chain and logistics industry
  • Has a hunter and building business mindset
  • Has the capacity to bring solutions to solve problems
