Roles & Responsibilities:
Involved in all aspects relating to the design and construction management of all types of civil and structural system
To lead the engineering team, carry out civil and structural engineering jobs in front end engineering design, detail engineering design
To generate project specification, design philosophy, calculation template to comply with clients’ requirements and the local authority’s requirements
To provide logistical support (site utilisation) when needed, as requested by sub-contractors
To be the liaison for the coordination of different trades within the same discipline
Responsible for all on-site engineering issues pertaining to site matters
Coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients' queries to ensure timely work arrangements
Involved in the day-to-day management of site supervision of construction activity to ensure site works are carried out as per schedule and the local authorities’ quality standards
To manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
To ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Construction or any equivalent qualification
Site experience on Super structure works for reinforce concrete, Steel structures and Precast structures
Experience / Knowledge in Bridge Construction/ Crosshead/ Lifting Frame /Launching Gantry Operation/ Pre-cast Segment Method/ MRT/ LTA will be an added advantage
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in local construction industry will be an added advantage
Good team player and able to work independently
BCSS Certification
Familiar with the local authorities’ requirements for civil and structural submissions
Possesses strong leadership qualities and analytical and reasoning abilities
Possesses the ability to read, analyses, and interpret common technical information, contracts reports and instructions
