Summary and Benefits
- Salary: $2,500 - $2,900 (Depending on experience)

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that food handling and hygiene standards are following SFA standards and those laid down by the Executive Chef.
- Work closely and cooperate with other chefs/colleagues to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
- Assist all upper-level Chefs in food production and ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld in the kitchen and to ensure the restaurant is always kept clean..
- Ensure that standard recipes are always followed.
- Check that the proper quantity, quality, and, expiry date of received goods are by the company’s guidelines.
- To constantly check the section fridges and walk-in chiller for cleanliness, prepped food condition, labeling, stock rotation, and correct placement of raw food items.
- Assist all the upper-level Chefs in making food requisitions.
- Ensure the kitchen is a secure and safe working environment. Report any concerns regarding health, safety, and hygiene to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Comply with the uniform and grooming standards as laid down by the company
- Assists in all kitchens related activities including ordering supplies and inventory control.
- Ensures that customers are served quality food promptly.
- Responsible for proper storage, labeling, and use of all food supplies to prevent unnecessary spoilage and to maintain cost control.
- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
- Informs daily Chef de Partie on all relevant information on operational and personal matters
- Perform duties common to the position and other duties as may be assigned
- Reports on any equipment in the section that needs repair or maintenance
- Ensures smooth running of the section during Chef de Partie absences
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 of relevant experience in the F&B service field.
- Min. secondary school education with 'O' level passes
- Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period would be preferred.
- Possess Food safety and hygiene certificate
- Must be comfortable working on weekends and public holidays.
