- Support the Head of Engineering in training and developing engineers on technical aspects, including the operation and handling of broadcast equipment.
- Assist in technical tasks to ensure the efficient daily operations of the Engineering Department.
- Develop and maintain a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for site surveys and prepare Production and Technical Integration Layout Plans, revising them periodically to enhance processes.
- Design and implement permanent rack layouts with serial numbers and standardized panel placements.
Pre-Project Responsibilities:
- Review the technical specifications of equipment and crew requirements outlined in quotations prepared by the Sales Department.
- Participate in client/contractor meetings and site reconnaissance visits as needed.
- Address clients' technical inquiries prior to the project's start.
- Expand the initial equipment quotation into a comprehensive list detailing all necessary items.
Post-Project Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of technical performance and issues encountered, providing recommendations for improvements in future projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Communication, Broadcast Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive expertise in broadcast equipment, including audio and vision mixers, radio communication products, cameras, and lenses.
- Willingness to travel internationally for regional and global projects.
