Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and management of product cost structures to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
- Develop and implement costing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, finance, and supply chain, to analyze and control costs.
- Provide detailed cost reports and forecasts, identifying trends and proposing strategies to minimize cost variances.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of cost management strategies.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities by providing cost-related insights.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs and improve operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a costing or financial management role, within the manufacturing or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus.
