Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:Prepare, manage, and update project cost estimates and budgets.
Advise on cost-effective strategies for project implementation.
- Tendering & Procurement:Draft and review tender documents, including Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
Analyze tender submissions and assist in awarding contracts.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Contract Management:Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements.
Handle variations, claims, and payment applications.
- Project Financial Monitoring:Track costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgets.
Prepare monthly valuations, final accounts, and financial reports.
- Risk Management & Compliance:Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, standards, and regulations.
- Coordination & Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
Provide advice on contractual matters and project feasibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
