Job description:
- Creating welding procedures for manufacturing process and involving selecting the appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Quality checking about the welds and ensuring it meets standards such as using x-rays testing, ultrasonic, & visual inspection test for it.
- Developing welding standards and work closely with other engineers & specialists to make sure everything is cost effective, efficient and safe
- Troubleshooting welding problems and finding solutions to streamline the welding process
- Marine and/or oil & gas industry welding experience
- ITE/Diploma or above in welding or mechanical engineering related course
- Ability to produce QMS, QSS, & QA plans
- AWS CWI or CSWIP Certificates
