Archisen is committed to providing the freshest, most nutritious, and flavourful produce by establishing the largest network of urban farms in Asia. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Farm Operator to join our Agri-Inputs team.
Purpose:
To manage, provide and distribute all primary Agri-Inputs for the Farms under Archisen.
Agri-Inputs are the source where growing begins. In this role, you will learn the supply chain of raw materials used in farms and the production process of secondary inputs. You will also be involved in the quality control standards of the raw materials.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders and generate production plans.
- Manufacture products and seedlings according to production plans.
- Perform planting activities for production of seedlings.
- Maintain seedling production equipment and infrastructure.
- Perform material stocktaking and management.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspection activities.
- Maintain Agri-inputs equipment and tools.
- Apply Quality Control Standards for raw materials and finished products.
- Dispatch Agri-input to partner farms and collaborators.
- Maintain documents, checklists and records pertaining to materials, equipment, traceability, and quality.
Requirements:
- Primary/Secondary/NITEC education or equivalent
- Experience working in an indoor farm will be added advantage
- Those who are keen working in an indoor farm may apply
- Training will be provided to ensure that you are up to date with latest farming practices
- Possess fair command of both written and spoken English
- Able to use basic hand tools
- Able to start within short notice
- Able to start work at 8am, normal shift
- 5 days work week
- Location : West
