Responsibilies :
- Develop and execute long-term strategies to achieve regional business objectives aligned with global goals.
- Oversee regional operations, sales, project execution, and market expansion efforts.
- Drive innovation and operational excellence to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure effective management of day-to-day business operations across APAC markets.
- Set performance benchmarks, implement KPIs, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Align regional practices with HQ directives and international standards.
- Lead the development of market penetration strategies for APAC markets, including emerging regions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and government agencies.
- Develop tailored marketing and sales strategies to align with local market dynamics.
- Collaborate with HQ and regional teams to ensure seamless integration of group-level functions such as finance, HR, legal, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to local and international laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Drive corporate governance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and the corporate HQ in China.
- Build and nurture relationships with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulators.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and other public engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 15+ years of professional experience, including senior management roles in renewable energy, ideally with a focus on wind energy.
- Proven track record in overseeing multi-country operations, P&L management, and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and financial acumen.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is mandatory, with additional fluency in other Chinese dialects (e.g., Cantonese, Hokkien) being a strong advantage to liaised with China HQ stake holders.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region.
