Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a minimum of 20 years of international experience to lead our operations, drive sales growth, streamline processes, and oversee market expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AI, SaaS, and servicing both commercial and government clients. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with proven hands-on success in scaling businesses across diverse geographies, in early-stage startups and established corporate environments. Proven success in building profitable businesses within SEA, China, and India is critical to this role’s success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CEO to define and implement the company’s strategic goals.
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve operational efficiency and profitability.
2. Sales and Market Expansion:
- Lead initiatives to build and scale sales channels targeting government and commercial clients.
- Drive geographic market expansion, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Establish and nurture partnerships that align with business objectives.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Design and refine operational processes to support scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure profitable consulting and sales engagements.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI and SaaS solutions into client operations.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize performance.
4. Team Development and Culture:
- Build and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams across diverse regions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a key liaison between the company and government, corporate, and commercial stakeholders.
- Represent the company in external forums and industry events to enhance its reputation.
Qualifications
· Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience with international exposure.
· Proven track record of success in AI, SaaS, and enterprise solutions.
· Experience working with both government and commercial clients, delivering tailored solutions.
· A background spanning early-stage startups and corporate enterprises.
· Exceptional ability to manage diverse teams and drive measurable results in complex environments.
· Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
