- Ensure timely creation of quotes and professional submission of all information as requested by clients, ensure follow-up
- Negotiate and secure contracts
- Manage pre and post contract commercial issues
- Support for collection of payment from clients
- Analyze market potential and develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies
- Track competitor activities
- Monitor market for the development of new technologies and trends.
- Source and coordinate with SGS affiliates and/or subcontractors for subcontract engagements
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Science filed or equivalent
- Previous experience as lab analyst would be advantageous
- 3 years sales experience in chemical-related laboratory testing sales
- Technical knowledge of chemical related laboratory testing
- Able to work independently and multi-task
- Good business acumen and results orientated
- Able to interact with all levels of management
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Acts quickly and decisively
- Works well under pressure, challenges status quo.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- Team player and have service-oriented mindset
