Job Description
We are seeking a Service & Bar Associate / Lead to join our vibrant and customer-focused team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, preparing beverages and food, and maintaining operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet and engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Beverage & Food Preparation: Craft coffee-based beverages, teas, and menu items following our unique recipes and procedures.
- Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Menu Knowledge: Be well-versed with the menu to make recommendations to customers.
- Order Management: Follow standard operating procedures for order-taking and food & beverage preparation.
- Cashier Duties: Handle payments and maintain accurate cash register records.
- Station Setup: Ensure workstations are properly set up and stocked before the start of each shift.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and orderly, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Stock Management: Monitor and replenish inventory to support daily operations, minimizing wastage.
- Team Support: Assist in various tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the establishment.
Requirements
- Experience: Preferably 1 year of service experience, though not mandatory. Training will be provided for those new to the industry.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrates initiative, strong work ethics, and a desire to learn and improve.
- Personality: Warm, cheerful, and customer-oriented.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Team Player: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Additional Information
- Salary: Up to $2,800 basic plus variable bonus.
- Work Week: Alternating 5 or 6 days per week (e.g., 5 days in the first week, 6 days in the second), including weekends and public holidays.
- Shifts: 8 or 10-hour shifts, with the earliest start at 7am and the latest end at 7:30pm.
- Locations: Tiong Bahru, Cluny Court, Telok Ayer, Neil Road, ION Orchard, East Coast.
