Roles & Responsibilities
- Provides installation and technical support to end user
- Configures, installs and maintains current application systems
- Responding in a timely manner to support issues and requests
- Network/system troubleshooting
- Maintain IT assets, license and documentations
- Support tracking log
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by users.
- Set up and maintain hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Perform regular hardware audits and upgrades as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security through proper configuration and access controls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize performance.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
- Manage server installations, configurations, and updates.
- Monitor server performance and conduct regular backups.
- Address server-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to staff and address IT-related queries.
- Document IT processes, policies, and procedures for future reference.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Scripting and programming for the purpose of system administration and/or user requirement.
Competency Requirements
- Min Diploma in IT or equivalent
- Experience in providing End User Support
- Experience in Network, routing protocol
- Experience on windows active directory, Windows OS, Linux, email system, database and etc.
- Experience in VBA scripting
- Knowledge in software development will be an advantage
