Water Treatment Marketing Support Engineer

Job Summary

The Water Treatment Marketing Support Engineer will provide technical support to the marketing team, focusing on membrane filtration technologies and water treatment solutions. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, customers, and engineering departments to effectively communicate product benefits, conduct market research, and support business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of water treatment processes, particularly membrane technologies (e.g., Nano Filtration, Reverse Osmosis) to assist the marketing and sales teams.
2. System Design: Develop and optimize designs for membrane filtration systems, including Nano Filtration and Reverse Osmosis technologies.
3. Water Quality Assessment: Analyse raw water quality data to determine treatment requirements and evaluate the effectiveness of membrane technologies.
4. Membrane Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate membranes based on performance specifications and project requirements.
5. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and increase water recovery rates.
6. Troubleshooting: Support operational teams in diagnosing issues related to membrane fouling, scaling, and maintenance.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance with quality standards.
8. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific water treatment challenges.
9. Training and Education: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for internal teams and customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
10. Marketing Materials: Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, case studies, and technical papers that highlight product advantages and applications.
11. Feedback Loop: Gather customer feedback on products and services to inform future product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

1. Diploma, equivalent or higher, with a major in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Management, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD is a plus.
3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment processes or related fields with a focus on membrane technologies.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders.
5. Presentation Skills: Ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
6. Bilingual in English and Chinese is required.
7. Technical Skills:

6.1. Strong understanding of membrane filtration technologies (Nano Filtration, Reverse Osmosis).

6.2. Familiarity with water quality parameters and analytical methods.

6.3. Experience in market analysis and product positioning.

Working Conditions

3. Salary (commensurate with experience): S$3200 – S$ 4200.
4. A part-time position is also available for application.
