About the role

The Head of Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization's goals and market trends. This role also oversees the payroll function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant employee payments. The incumbent will drive strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and reward talent while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.


About the responsibilities

You are responsible for developing and managing competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and payroll operations aligned with organizational goals. Key duties include conducting salary reviews, job evaluations, and pay equity assessments; ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency; and maintaining up-to-date governance frameworks for all functions. The role involves collaborating with HR, Finance, and leadership to align strategies, educating stakeholders on policies, and leveraging workforce data to drive informed decisions. You will also lead a team of 5, including the payroll team.


What you will bring along with you

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or it’s related field. You will also bring along with you 13 years of experience in similar capacity, coupled with at least 5 years in a people manager role. Expertise in designing and managing compensation and benefits programs, strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations, and proficiency with HRIS and data reporting tools are essential. The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, along with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and high ethical standards. Having strong stakeholder management skills would be a key to success in this role. Candidates with consulting backgrounds who are looking to move into an in-house capacity are also encouraged to apply.


This is a local role and would be a great fit for candidates with experiences in local listed companies and/or in the public sector.
