Senior Regional HR Executive
Job Summary
This position will support the organization by partnering with business leaders and employees to provide the employee lifecycle services, implement Southeast Asia region’s HR programs, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function. This role is responsible to identify business needs and provides advice, guidance and create sustainable solutions in addressing employee and organisational challenges, with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Accountabilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for assigned business units to ensure smooth integration of new hire into the organization.
Employee Engagement & Development:
- Build and promote employee engagement, champion of employee and organisational change management and development activities.
- Establish strong & influential relationships with leaders and managers in your client group, provide sound advice, support and guidance aligned with HR & business strategy.
- Act as a representative agent for Singapore HR to correspond to HR-related inquiries logged in the process improvement system (Support Hub), and support with workplace issues.
- Resolve employee concerns and conflicts, ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Coordinate employee development programs to build and enhance job related skills and competencies.
Performance Management:
- Monitor and support reporting for regional performance management and regional promotion cycles.
- Provide support for disciplinary cases and improvement plans for underperforming employees.
HR Services & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation align with personal data protection governance.
- Responsible for HR deliverables for the business units and ensure all the HR initiatives are performed in accordance with HR guidelines and compliance with countries laws and regulations while balancing the specific needs of business operations.
Regional Support:
- Support the Senior HR Regional Manager in the collaboration with SEA Regional HR on HR strategies and organisational-wide projects.
Key Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field
- 5 years’ experience working as HR Generalist
- Proficient with Singapore Labor Law including Employment Act
- Excellent in written & spoken English and ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Strong analytical skills with critical thinking and problem-solving skill
- Able to work independently, pro-active, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
