about the job
- Bring onboard new clients, projects and reach targets that hit defined sales and profitability goals
- Gather market intelligence, develop client network, and foster strong client relationships
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape
- Review of bid proposal from tender team and make decision in consultation with director
- Serve as Bid Manager for large size projects
- Lead negotiation with client on bid and contract terms & conditions
- Develop and protect company’s brand, corporate image, and reputation
skills & experience required
- Master / Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural / Geotechnical Engineering
- Min 8 years’ experience in a geotechnical / soil investigation / quantity surveyor / proposal / coastal engineering role in the construction industry
- Keen to pursue / prior experience in sales / business development position
- Experience dealing with A1 / Tier 1 main contractor / consultant
- Comfortable in doing tendering of projects and vetting of contracts before highlighting to legal for any non-compliance clauses
