Warehouse Manager

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, provide guidance and develop strategy for the management of warehouse.
  • Stand-in for supervisor in the event of supervisor's absence
  • Participate in recruitment activities, staff development and talent management.
  • Establish the on-the-job training for Warehouse staff and assisting in the OJT
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse issue within warehouse, within site and externally.
  • Create and drive plans to have improvement in department KPI from year on year
  • Drive the project improvement and resolved issue related to the Warehouse
  • Lead in customer visit or audit for Warehouse
  • Manage the inventory system and ensure it is operating at the designated operating limit.
  • Developed and implement a program for 5S, ensuring that it is always organized and clean.
  • Create and drive the safety and healthy work environment in the Warehouse
  • Manage and lead the warehouse team and responsible for the attendance, appraisal, job evaluation, etc.
  • Manage 3PL.

Job requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent years of relevant working experience
  • At least 5 Years of working experience in the team lead responsibilities is required for this position.
  • Good leadership and strong problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in warehouse management
  • SAP knowledge is an added advantage
