Job responsibility
- Operate packaging system, plant equipment and processes as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
- Support and maintain daily operation output and schedule adherence.
- Record all relevant packaging data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Identify and report any non-conformities in packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Carry out small batch blending productions.
- Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses. Take part in further investigation when required.
- Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and to participate in maintenance activities and shut-down/start-up of sections.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ensure export is properly carried out and right material is being sent out.
- Stock-take inventory.
- Ensure good housekeeping of work areas.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Job requirement
- At least GCE “A/O” levels.
- Relevant experience in chemical industry would be an added advantage.
- Forklift license would be an added advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Able to work under fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.
