The Analyst will be based in Singapore to analyze the media trend in the China market. You will leverage data analysis and market research techniques to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
Job Description:
- Oversee the quality of ratings from external vendors and ensure accurate assessment of content relevance for Chinese media.
- Generate detailed reports that analyze issues, patterns, and trends specific to Chinese media content.
- Use data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) to identify insights and uncover relevance issues within query logs and metrics.
- Collaborate closely with statisticians, engineers, and data scientists to evaluate and refine search algorithms.
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent industry experience in Business Administration, Business Analytics, etc.
- Experience data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau.
- Good knowledge of Large Learning Model and Artificial Intelligence.
- Familiar with search and recommendations engines.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and generating reports.
- Able to read and write in Mandarin (min. B3 in 'O' level Chinese or equivalent certifications) to read, analyze and write content in Mandarin.
- Good knowledge of Chinese media such as music and movie industries is required to support the Chinese market.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to be proactive in bringing new, innovative ideas to the table.
