SCOPE OVERVIEW
- Oversee the daily operations of the New Business team, ensuring that all applications are processed within established turnaround times.
- Monitor and assess team performance to uphold high standards of service quality and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular management reports that provide insights into key performance metrics, department performance, and operational insights. Use data to make actionable recommendations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational processes, enhancing overall productivity and accuracy.
- Ensure that all operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on applications to minimize errors and reduce risk, maintaining a strong focus on service quality.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the New Business team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a positive work environment.
- Act as a primary liaison for business partners, handling communication related to new business processes, product updates, and service expectations.
- Conduct training sessions for business partners to support understanding of policies and procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Address and resolve inquiries from business partners promptly to maintain strong working relationships.
- Lead and execute new business projects or initiatives, collaborating with the HOD and cross-functional teams
- Assist the HOD in ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in product development, business administration and client relationship management would be preferred
- The ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years experience in team lead role
- PC literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge on AS400 is an added advantage
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to define, research and resolve problems
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadlines
