Job Description
- Able to set up, operate and maintain 3 axis CNC milling machine independently without supervision
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to work in accordance to technical instructions and engineering drawings
- Perform simple troubleshooting of machines
- Experience with Yaskawa robots will be advantageous
- Knowledge of MIG welding or valid MIG welding certificate will be advantageous
Requirement
- NITEC/Higher NITEC qualification or equivalent in Precision Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5
