Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CloudOps Specialist with a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement and maintain security measures across AWS environments, focusing on SIEM, CSPM, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection.
- Monitor security events and incidents using SIEM tools and respond promptly to potential threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts for automated deployment and configuration management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage secure cloud architectures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud security and AWS services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, CSPM solutions, IDS/IPS technologies, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, or CDK.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with incident response and security operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Ali Cloud is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
