Job scope:
- Efficiently lead and cultivate the regional procurement organization
- Implement regional procurement initiatives, ensuring timely completion of key projects with a focus on cost optimization, NPI, value analysis, material sourcing, component localization, supplier quality, and indirect spend.
- Develop and execute strategies for key commodities
- Promote new technology and innovation with suppliers for product development, emphasizing cost optimization and performance enhancement
- Collaborate with the corporate procurement organization, providing input and contributing to overall procurement, category, and supplier strategy
- Managing distributed suppliers
- Obtain best pricing
Key Requirements:
- Msc / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 7 years of procurement and supply chain experience in a chemical / activated carbon manufacturing environment
- Strategic regional procurement planning
- High volume manufacturing experience
- Able to travel APAC for work assignment (around 25%)
