You will be part of a Startup in Singapore, focusing on providing sustainable energy solutions. The company is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the current and upcoming projects within the company, and ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
You will be reporting to the partners of the start up, and will work closely with the project team comprising of Sales/Account Managers, R&D and Technical Professionals to ensure smooth running of projects from start to completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Design and execute the company's operations strategy and roadmap. Align operational efforts with overarching business objectives and goals.
Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and expansion. - Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of daily operations. Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine processes across all business functions.
Introduce lean methodologies, automation, and technology solutions. Address and resolve operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks. - Resource Management: Allocate and utilize resources effectively and cost-efficiently. Oversee operational budgets and capital expenditure. Maximize resource usage for optimal outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks. Develop contingency plans and risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Supply Chain and Logistics: Optimize supply chain and logistics processes. Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement activities. Oversee inventory management and distribution channels.
- Facilities and Infrastructure Management: Maintain facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Ensure safety, security, and environmental compliance. Plan for facility upgrades, relocations, or modifications.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Define and uphold quality standards and procedures. Monitor adherence to quality assurance protocols. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measures.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze and report operational performance to senior management. Use data insights to identify improvement areas.
Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the operations team. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent. Promote a culture of accountability and excellence. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with China-based teams and other functions. Ensure effective communication and alignment across departments.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- 10 years of experience within a property management or facilities management company, preferably in a managerial capacity
- Team oriented
- Driven and proactive, and able to strive in a start-up environment

- Work hours: Mon to Fri, 10am to 7pm
- Budget: Up to $8,000 based on experience + attractive bonuses
