Job Description
- Contribute to the distinctive ethos of the school, as laid down in its Mission statement in all areas of contact and responsibility, in relationships with staff and pupils.
- Support the HOD/ICT in the management of school based initiatives.
- Provide ICT Technical Support and assistance in the school.
- Support, research and recommend in the procurement of ICT or AV resources and infrastructure for the school.
- Manage user accounts of administrative portals for operations required by the school. within the constraints of appropriate security, following guidelines stipulated by MOE and the school. e.g. Apple School Manager, Mobile Device Management Portals, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Adobe Admin Portal, etc
- Perform diagnostic service of computing and AV devices in school.
- Take charge of loans of school equipment, and manage insurance with relevant parties when defects arises during warranty period.
- Maintain and manage the periodic replacement and condemnation of ICT equipment.
- Support stock-take of ICT assets and stores together with other members of IT Support Team.
- Support and man all ICT help-desk requests. e.g. password resets, device loans, device troubleshooting, application installation/deletion and servicing requests.
- Perform recordings for events, lessons and competitions.
- Setup/support Audio Visual for events, assembly and meeting.
- Take charge of AV management and maintenance
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by P,VP,HOD/ICT and ICT Manager/Associate.
Requirements
- Preferably possess Diploma in Information Technology or its equivalent
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Good communication skills, able to give advice on relevant ICT systems and policies
- Good team player who enjoys working with staff and students
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in ICT systems, software or hardware
- Proficient in the setup and operation Audio/Video systems and their relevant preventive maintenance.
- Proficient in photography, videography, and graphic design or animation
- Able to troubleshoot system and equipment faults.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in similar job scope
- Has experience working in an Apple iPad PDLP school
Working hours
TIming (1) :
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
- Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Time-off will be given for working beyond working hours.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. However, at times may call upon to work on Weekends when there are special events that require ICT support, time-off will be given for hours of work on Weekends.
Timing (2) :
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
- Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Time-off will be given for working beyond working hours.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. However, at times may call upon to work on Weekends when there are special events that require ICT support, time-off will be given for hours of work on Weekends
