What are your contributions to the team?
- Prepare paint, prepare surface and apply paint.
- Apply paint in accordance with work instructions.
- Prepare surfaces for overlap between painted areas.
- Prepare for paint touch-ups or small areas (1 liter maximum).
- Knowledge of paint tools and their correct use.
- Knowledge of the different types of paints and how to apply them.
- Perform all work according to Bombardier standards, including quality and safety policies.
- Able to carry out visual checks in accordance with project requirements to identity reasons for both non-conformities and successful outcomes.
- Complete timecards daily and ensure that the snag/task card information is correct.
- Punctual, meticulous and good time management.
How to thrive in this role?
- You must have at least 6 years of aircraft painting experience on business aircrafts or similar aircraft.
- You must be able to read and intepret necessary documentation such as company procedures and preparation packages.
- You must be able to work in confined spaces.
- You must be able to lift and transport up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You hold a diploma or relevant trade certificates or equivalent qualifications.
- You have had supervisory experience in running a team and able to oversee operations.
