Responsibilities:
· Designing and executing test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
· Testing applications for AS400 environments using tools like Postman.
· Creating and maintaining automated test scripts for regression testing.
· Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve software defects.
· Utilizing Jira for defect tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
· Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
· Providing timely and accurate QA status reports to stakeholders.
· Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as a Testing Engineer or similar role.
· Solid understanding of AS400 systems and experience testing applications on this platform.
· Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
· Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar API testing frameworks.
· Familiarity with SQL queries for database validation.
· Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
· Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
· Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
