Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the overall program and how each business unit interacts, while exploring business opportunities within each unit.
- Develop strategies to enhance operational performance, and monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Support Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) and ad hoc projects focused on workplace safety, automation, process elimination, Kaizen bursts, value stream mapping, quality improvements, and productivity gains.
- Engage with customers through CIPs, project-related activities, and Operational Excellence (OpEx) meetings.
- Implement, sustain, and improve methods, tools, and standards for the LEAN system across all value stream sections.
- Support LEAN practices, including 6S and root cause problem-solving, to drive continuous improvement.
- Challenge existing practices and assist business unit leads in CIPs that focus on waste elimination.
- Manage multiple CIPs and ad hoc projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Promote data analytics, data visualization, and storage optimization to improve processes.
- Ensure ongoing evaluation and improvement of operational practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Operations
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Logistics industry
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is an advantage.
- Extensive hands-on experience with LEAN, 6S, Standardized Work, Problem Solving, VSM, and Kaizen, with proven examples of how Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) have delivered measurable and sustainable results.
