- Position Title: Food Preparer / Kitchen Assistant
- Working Location: Mandai
- Working Hours: 5.5 days, Mon– Fri (8 am – 5 pm); Sat (8 am – 12 pm) subject to changes depending on manufacturing schedule
- Salary Package: $2,600 to $3,600
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, pack and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting all company standards
- Get guidance and work closely on a daily basis with the Production and General Supervisor
- Practice food safety and sanitation inside the food factory premises
- Work safely around kitchen wares and equipment, keeping wastage at minimum
- Actively participate in trainings and team meetings
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Immediately report any food factory and equipment issues to the Production and General Supervisor
- Enforce ISO22000 standard of quality & hygiene daily
- Maintain cleanliness of the food factory and equipment and all work areas
- Ensure supply of ingredients for weekly production schedule
- Issue P.Os & manage food costing and inventory
- Execute & meet production schedule and targets
- Join in monthly sales forecast & product reviews
- Any other tasks as and when assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary, Hospitality and Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related occupation.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and sanitary practices.
- High level of initiative and highly self-motivated
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Dynamic team player with strategic and creative mindset
- Good initiator with strong multi-task and time management skills
