Salary Paramenter: Gross Salary between SGD 2,800 to SGD 3,200, according to experience and candidate skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support:
- Assist in coordinating and managing the end-to-end IOR/EOR process for global shipments.
- Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of goods.
- Verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Documentation Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all shipments, customs entries, and compliance-related documentation.
- Assist in preparing necessary documents for import/export compliance, including import licenses, permits, and declarations.
- Customer Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on shipment status and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with customers to gather required information and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on customs regulations and trade policies in various countries.
- Ensure all shipments comply with relevant import/export laws and guidelines.
- Problem Resolution:
- Identify and resolve operational issues, such as shipment delays, missing documents, or customs holds.
- Escalate critical issues to the operations manager or relevant teams as needed.
- Reporting:
- Assist in preparing regular reports on shipment status, compliance metrics, and operational performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs operations.
- Familiarity with IOR/EOR processes and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics management systems.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of customs documentation and import/export regulations.
- Knowledge of APAC trade regulations is an advantage.
