Job Overview:
Shipping Line is looking for a Senior Executive, Trade to join their team. This permanent position involves managing cargo flow, pricing strategies, and vessel optimisation to ensure the efficient use of shipping resources. You will play a key role in supporting commercial objectives, monitoring vessel performance, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cargo Flow Management:Support ports in achieving inbound and outbound targets and optimise vessel allocations.
- Vessel Monitoring and Analysis:Monitor vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions, and allocation to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Operational Issue Resolution:Address and resolve operational issues that arise from a commercial perspective.
- Market and Competitor Analysis:Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments.
- Pricing Management:Maintain pricing efficiency for BCO, IFF, tenders, etc., and provide analysis on contribution to revenue.
- Stakeholder Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with international freight forwarders, agencies, and other stakeholders.
- P&L Analysis and Business Development:Assist the Trade Manager in simple P&L analysis, feasibility service studies, and participate in business development initiatives.
