[Contract Position]

This is a contract position that can be converted to a permanent role, subject to performance and divisional requirements.


Job Description

SINDA Family Development Division serves as a focal point for families who can turn for help on any matter relating to the family. We provide a wide range of support for families in need and contribute to the overall mission of strengthening families. We also ensure that we are plugged into the community needs and collaborate with or facilitate other agencies in meeting these needs.

The team member will work with the Family Development Division to support the administrative operations of SINDA Assistance Schemes and ensure timely service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and documentation with accuracy and completeness
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines when carrying out tasks
  • Engage clients with empathy and make assessment for appropriate support and intervention
  • Provide inputs and to carry out responsibilities to improve the operational efficiency and quality of services
  • Assist in monitoring Service Delivery to ensure compliance to service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines
  • Participate/ implement programmes (e.g. strengthening activities appropriate to clients’/ target profile)
  • Review programmes to target client groups, stakeholders, partners, organisations
  • Identify service gaps in response to client needs and make recommendations to improve service provision of programmes
  • Understand the need to build and initiate professional partnerships across the social service sector
  • Foster and exhibit professional working relationships within the organisation and related sector
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Meticulous team player and passionate about serving the community
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for presentations
  • Able to perform fundamental data analysis and reporting using Excel/Power BI would be an added advantage
  • Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, as required
  • Flexible to work on Saturdays when needed; Time off will be given to compensate for the overtime hours worked
