Job Description
- Full set of accounts for ship chartering business and investment holding companies.
- Review of payments (including staff claims) and direct liaison with logistics department on billing matters, payment processing back-up when accounts assistant is away.
- Prepare journal entries and monthly accounting schedule inclusive fixed asset, prepayments, accruals and other balance sheet schedules.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and revaluation, inter-company transaction reconciliation.
- Monthly and quarterly preparation of Group Reporting Pack.
- Prepare quarterly GST returns and workings and GST reporting.
- Assist in year-end audit.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager (i.e. reporting to Singapore Department of Statistics, KYC request from banks, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Possess Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in GST reporting is a must.
- Knowledge of SAP Accounting system will be a plus.
- Attention to details, meticulous and ability to multi-task in fast pace environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
