The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the hotel, interior design, and commercial project sectors, and driving sales to meet and exceed company targets. This role requires a proactive, goal-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the commercial furnishing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify new business opportunities in target markets, including hotels, interior designers, and other commercial projects.
- Develop and execute strategies to approach potential clients and convert them into long-term customers.
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels such as cold calls, emails, networking events, and industry exhibitions.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the commercial sector.
- Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with interior designers, architects, contractors, and hotel operators.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by driving sales of curtains and related products to commercial clients.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and product recommendations to clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals while maintaining profitability.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the commercial furnishing sector.
- Conduct regular market research to identify potential new clients and emerging business opportunities.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and client feedback.
