Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales of our cutting-edge telecommunications products, including solutions and hardware products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the telecommunications or hardware sector, a proven track record in sales, and access to key distribution or channel resources to expand our market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Market Expansion:
    • Drive new business opportunities by identifying, developing, and securing key accounts for our hardware and telecommunications products.
    • Cultivate relationships with distributors, resellers, partners, and direct clients to expand the company’s product distribution channels.
    • Create and execute strategies to increase sales revenue in line with company growth targets.
  • Channel Development:
    • Leverage existing relationships and established channels to expand market reach.
    • Identify and develop new channels, partnerships, and sales opportunities, both locally and internationally.
    • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the telecommunications and hardware sectors, including retailers, mobile operators, and third-party service providers.
  • Product Knowledge and Consultation:
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings in hardware and telecommunications technologies (specifically eSIM, mobile devices, and communication solutions).
    • Provide product training, technical support, and consultative selling to clients and partners to ensure successful product adoption and integration.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners to close deals in a mutually beneficial way.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the negotiation and execution of contracts.
  • Market Research and Reporting:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for product development.
    • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and business development strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales in the hardware, telecommunications, or related technology industries.
    • Strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
    • Established channel partner relationships and access to relevant distribution networks.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
    • Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications products, hardware solutions, and eSIM technologies.
    • Ability to identify business opportunities, develop strategies, and close deals independently.
    • Proficient in CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Other:
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
    • Ability to travel for business as required.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commerial, or hardware product sales is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry’s regulatory and compliance environment.
  • Multilingual skills or international sales experience are an added advantage.
