Job Type: 1 year contract under Avensys
Brief Job Description Summary:
The successful candidate will support the platform layer, which centralizes and abstracts infrastructure issues away from application teams. This provides powerful and safe tools to develop and deploy GenAI use cases in a secure and consistent manner.
Work with developers and business users to ensure platform have good DX and able to meet the AI needs of the users.
Skill set good to have:
- Experience in AI/ML platform engineering will be an added advantage.
- Hands on experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices, such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Scrum and Kanban.
- Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate in understanding business requirements and use technology to transform or improve current state.
- Familiar with and possess strong interest to learn about current and emerging technology landscapes.
Mandatory Requirements: Key Skills and Experience:
- Possess a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Hands-on technical skill with good competencies in 2 or more of the following:
- Frontend - ReactJS (preferred) or equivalent
- Backend - Python (FastAPI - preferred) or/and NodeJS (NextJS - good to have)
- SDK development - Python (Poetry)
- Infrastructure/Platform - Terraform, AWS cloud, K8s or equivalent container technologies
- Hands on experience in system/software design and automated software testing (with Github Actions or equivalent CICD experience).
