- To take charge of planning, coordinating and to complete projects with a great sense of responsibility and within the stipulated timelines;
- To determine the schedules of different phases of projects based on established deadlines;
- To monitor the work progresses and operations at site, including quality control, safety issues, etc;
- To liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and internal departments in resolving project development and technical issues;
- Supervise on project and report on daily progress regarding installation work on site;
- To ensure all rectification works and installations are attended to properly;
- Assist to identify, review and assess risk arising from the workplace;
- Ensure all machinery and equipment at site are in good working conditions and having all the necessary working certificates;
- Ensure all workers at site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times;
- Conduct daily site safety inspection and enforce compliance on prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations and other requirements;
- Assist to attend all issues related to workplace safety, health and environmental control;
- Liaise closely with site operations staff on all safety and health issues;
- To ensure all systems and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements;
- To ensure of the safe measurements on site as a duties of a Safe Management Officer;
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess of Diploma in building or Civil engineering
- Possess of WSH qualifications, Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
- Certified in Safety Management Officer (SMO).
- Possess at least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of health and safety in building construction;
- Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance;
- Possess good leadership, good communication skills, organizing abilities and independent;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Power Point.
- Driving license (Class 3) will be preferred.
