The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an Italian MNC, offering end-to-end logistics solutions for companies needing both freight forwarding and 3PL services, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Regional Tradelane Manager! Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, the successful incumbent will grow the SEA region's air and ocean freight business/services in accordance with the sales strategy on various tradelanes.

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm
  • Work location: East region (near to Expo MRT)
  • Salary: basic up to $7500/month + AWS + VB + transport & mobile allowances

The Job:

  • Drive growth in the region's air and ocean freight business in line with the sales strategy for different types of trade lanes for SEA region.
  • Regularly assess trade lane performance against budget targets and growth objectives.
  • Launch sales campaigns in collaboration with partner countries.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and propose initiatives to increase volume.
  • Define target customer segments and key freight characteristics to inform business strategies.
  • Partner with country teams to engage with customers, build relationships, conduct client meetings, and close deals to boost revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Conduct market intelligence activities, such as analyzing pricing trends, assessing market positioning, developing services, and identifying prospective clients.
  • Provide support for air and ocean procurement for the trade lanes.

The Talent:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trade lane sales within the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work with a diverse team and influence and drive change across functional and business boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic changing environment.
  • This role is required to travel overseas for work ~15% of the time.
