Job Descriptions:
- Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations such as MLC, Flag State regulations, and industry standards.
- Participating in company audits to demonstrate compliance in crewing activities.
- Monitoring and executing crew-related matters for the fleet of owned, operated, and managed vessels.
- Maintaining crew change schedules and executing plans.
- Verifying and filing crew documentation in line with STCW requirements, handling visas, flag state certificates, and endorsements.
- Keeping accurate records of crew documentation for easy access and retrieval.
- Coordinating travel, visas, and logistics for crew members.
- Staying updated on crew training requirements and ensuring compliance.
- Overseeing daily crew issues and coordinating crew appraisals with technical and operations teams.
- Managing crew information updates with authorities like MPA and the Singapore Flag.
- Handling insurance coverage and addressing administrative matters related to crew.
- Managing crew payroll processing, including upkeep of Sea-farer employment agreements (SEA) and working agreements.
- Verifying timesheets, crew claims, and expenses, and submitting to Finance for processing.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in crew management, payroll processing, and maritime regulations.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Proficiency in managing crew documentation, travel, and certifications.
- Familiarity with local and international maritime regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
