- Conduct lessons in a small group intervention setting (ratio 1:3)
- Create lesson plans and meaningful/functional activities
- Document child’s progress
- Write IEP goals
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Liaise with caregivers/parents and give updates on progress and school work
- Tailor intervention to each child’s unique learning needs
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1pm (part-time) or
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (full-time)
Requirements:
- Training in dyslexia management and/or literacy management is an advantage
- Advanced Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood education (special needs)
- Experience in EIPIC would be an advantage
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong command of English Language written and verbal
- Must enjoy working with children with learning needs
- Salary commensurate with experience, level of qualification and working hours
