Teaching & Learning IT Specialist
This role focuses on driving the strategy, development, and implementation of technologies to enhance teaching and learning. The successful candidate will ensure the Learning Management System is effectively supported and continuously improved, enabling users to meet their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project management tasks related to teaching and learning technologies.
- Research, plan, and collaborate with faculty to implement innovative technologies that improve the teaching and learning experience.
- Work with learning designers to assess and integrate new tools for teaching and learning.
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System and its integrations with other systems.
- Coordinate with developers and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Ensure all projects comply with IT policies, security standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in project management.
- Technical expertise in application development with Microsoft technologies (.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL) and guide developers on system design.
- Familiarity with the latest technologies for teaching and learning is an advantage.
- Experience completing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) web-based projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
