Head of Business Development

Trainocate Holdings, Ltd. Singapore Branch

Job Overview:

Trainocate Holdings Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking a motivated and dynamic Client Solutions Executive / Playing manager who is going to target Japanese companies having Regional Headquarter in Singapore to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with corporate executive class, many of them are seconded from Japan’s Headquarter to identify their training needs and propose tailored soft skills training programs and customized training solutions. Also, in many cases, corporate executives will route their request to their subordinates who are usually citizens or PR of Singapore delegated from expats. You will play a key role in building relationships, developing training proposals, and driving sales for both public and customized courses with these key talent in our customers. Experience in organizing and promoting public courses across various categories will be an advantage.


Key Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Sales:

  • Identify and meet with potential corporate clients to understand their training needs in areas such as leadership, communication, team development, and other soft skills.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by offering value-added training solutions.
  • Propose customized training programs to meet specific organizational needs, collaborating with the internal team to design tailored courses.
  • Drive sales of public and customized soft skills training courses through strategic engagement and solution-selling techniques.

Course Organization & Promotion:

  • Organize, promote, and manage public soft skills training programs across various categories, including leadership, personal development, and team building.
  • Monitor market trends and client needs to develop and update course offerings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (trainers, operations, and marketing) to ensure successful course execution.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare detailed and customized training proposals and presentations, showcasing how Trainocate’s offerings can address the client’s training needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals with corporate clients, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Working together with Trainocate companies existing in Asia for regional delivery.

Account Management:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients are satisfied with the training programs.
  • Conduct post-training reviews with clients to measure training effectiveness and explore opportunities for additional services.

Market Research & Business Development:

  • Research market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging training needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and networking sessions to generate leads and build the company’s presence in the market.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or client relationship roles, preferably in the training, education, or professional development sector.
  • Experience in organizing and promoting public training courses across various categories is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of soft skills training, including leadership, communication, team development, and personal growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives and HR professionals.
  • Ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Experience for Japanese company corporate sales, understanding of Japanese company dynamics.
  • Fluent Japanese, together with English to communicate with Japanese company MDs.
  • Business level Chinese preferred.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a strong ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM systems, and other sales management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
