Laundry and Drycleaning Operations Supervisor (Day/Night)
Join our team as a Laundry & Drycleaning Operations Supervisor and play a key role in overseeing our operations in Singapore. Reporting to the Operations Manager (Singapore), you will ensure smooth daily operations with a focus on dry cleaning, laundry processing, garment finishing, ironing, and packing.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and manage laundry operation teams, including itemizing, packing, washing/finishing, and ironing.
- Performance Targets: Set and monitor daily and weekly KPIs and operational targets to maintain efficiency.
- Garment Oversight: Supervise garment itemizing, quality assessments, and finishing processes.
- Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Laundry Manager regarding production metrics and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, dry-cleaning machines, garment finishers, and ironing tools.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the safe operation of all machinery, adhering to workplace safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage assigned inventories and supplies to ensure availability and cost control.
- Operational Support: Provide additional support to factory operations or other duties as required.
Requirements
- Education/Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent experience in laundry operations (specialization in garment care and cleaning is preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
- Hands-on knowledge in the maintenance of laundry machines and equipment is an advantage.
